History
A visit to the American Museum of Science and Energy in the secret nuclear city (Oak Ridge, TN) revealed a supercomputer model demonstrating distributed computing using R Pi miniature computers.

The miniature computer network environment is an effective visual aid for lessons in networking and distributed computing.

At Centricorp, miniature computers are mounted together to run different types of distributed computing exercises.

For portability, the mini computers are strapped into a small case with a network switch and power supply. Weighing 4 pounds, the case creates a fully-functional network-in-a-box, or a ""mobile mini-network"".
